Weird numbered folders keep reappearing in my documents folder, (after deleting a number of times).

See the image below. They are numbered sequentially, with numbers and letters, and contain one or two files in each. The files inside are named things like –

    e06e176050b1d3b873beeafd66bd0b050eb67800.file

I have no idea what they are, how they got there or how to delete them permanently. I have deleted and they keep reappearing on startup.

Was thinking could be something to do with the library folders, that sometimes appear, but these look different to those.

Any idea how to get rid of them would be much appreciated! Thanks

    I’m running:

    2017 iMac | OS – Big Sur | 3.5 GHz Intel Core i5 | 40 GB RAM | Radeon Pro 575
