Focus DRHD-100 Firestore and Vegas 7.0 & 8.0
We just purchased a new JVC HD 240 camera with a Focus DRHD-100 firestore drive and shot some footage.
Playback in Vegas 8 showed no video, just audio. We talked to a Tech at focus and he said he’s fielded a lot of calls from Vegas users:same exact problem. Vegas 7 & 8 have not been tested for compatability, only version 6.0. The testing department is not available to the consumer.
We have some overseas shooting to do soon. Anyone else have this problem? Any workarounds?

Yea, get the nNovia system! All kidding aside, never having worked with Firestor, is there a way to set or change your clip settings (format ie: avi type 2)? Maybe it’s set for FC or Adobe file format. Some editing software uses proprietary formats.
