    FLV Exports from PP 2 not playing with Flash 8 Player

    I exported some small PP 2.0 projects as flash files (did them at different NTSC rates – 400k, 700k). They all export fine but when I click on them to play, Macromedia Flash 8 opens but has a blank screen and nothing plays. Am I missing a step? Shouldn’t these play with Flash 8 player?

    You may have to have another look at the Flash manual. When Flash 8 opens for you, it’s opening to a blank stage. You will find video player components you can drag onto that stage, and set to refer to your flv files; then when you preview or publish your Flash movie, the video will play.
