FLV export problem
I’m using Final Cut 6.0.5 and regularly export FLV files. I have Flash CS3 installed which allows FCP to use the FLV export option with QuickTime.
I recently purchased and installed Magic Bullet Looks Suite from Red Giant Software…that is the only recent change I have made and now I can’t export FLVs from Final Cut without hanging the entire system and having to restart.
I have trashed my preferences and that has made no difference.
I wonder if anyone has an idea on what this could be.

I have since discovered that FCP is actually exporting the FLV, but does not display the progress of the export as ususal…it just displays 0% progress which gives the impression that nothing is happening.
Does this highlight perhaps a bigger issue?

I don’t know…that’s strange. I typically just export a quicktime and then make my .flv in CS3 Flash encoder. It’s an extra step, but it doesn’t give me any problems and gives a good output.
