I have a problem converting flv files into a format that vegas will understand.

vegas will read the converted .avi file but no sound will play.

ive looked at other forums and they say to use a program called “super” but i dont know what settings to output the file to in order to get vegas to play the audio as well as the video.

i have a workaround where i can just record the audio using audacity and then adding another audio track but it is a time consuming process.

    thanks so much in advance

I use a program from Moyea called Flash Video MX Pro.
    https://www.flash-video-mx.com/index.htm
Very simple to use and does a great job converting Flash to AVI, MOV and MP4.

The program I had includes the FLV to Video converter.
You won’t need to go through those extra steps.

The program called “Super” works fine. i just export to mp4 and eveything works fine. I had to do a little searching to find the files on my hd but thanks anyway.
