As is current in a lot of showreels, I am wanting to wipe on a graphic using a floral mask to give a flowing organic effect. How do I get smoothness into the transition? Is this achieved with separate plugins like Tinderbox?

Check the green box at the top of the main AE COW page, specifically “common after effects questions”, then look near the bottom for “organic flowing lines”, under “General Effects”.

    Thanks Steve.

Yeah. I found it almost immediately after posting. Duh! I guess use the write-on to transition images simply means a pre-comp or nesting and using alpha mattes.
