I sometimes wake up in a cold sweat (some say I should buy a BAD) with illusive visions still dancing in my mind (some say I should buy a BRAIN).

These visions are FLOATING disembodied HEADS.

Exactly EIGHT will creep into my slumbers.

One-at-time, they float by… first 3 heads, all male and in living(?) color… but then there are two more but these guys are in monochrome (very Film Noir kinda of thing) one head is a pleasant (PleasantVILLE) sort, but the second guy, he’s wearing a SNORKEL BREATHER UNDERWATER SCUBA-kinda thingy (creeps me OUT!).

Then (I’m sure this is significant) a beautiful LADY floats in (still just the HEAD, mind you, but a vast improvement over the looks of the first head-dudes.)

But she doesn’t STAY… she’s followed (CHASED is more like it) by a Beatnik guy (you’ve got to watch those Beatnik guys, what are they hiding under that snappy facial hair?).

Last (at LONG last) there’s a Sheaksperean “Falstaff” fella.
Looks to be hail and jovial (and all that), but I don’t TRUST a disembodied floating-head jovial fella (what’s he got to be so happy about? He ain’t got no body to call his own.)

After Falstaff (or whoever he is) shows up. my eyes snap open, (this is where we started) and I can’t go back to bed (If I HAD a bed) so I stumble to my Mac keyboard and log onto the COW.

Ah, Sony DV, Event Videographers (there’s an occupation to try to fit on a W-2), Broadcast Video and of course my favorite, Final Cut Pro.

So nice to have a safe place to relax.

Sure wish I could figure out my “head-visions” complex.

Bring vast amount of chocolates! The floating head has commanded you.

No actually, don’t. My wife’s floating head gets pretty upset when I eat too much chocolate. something about bouncing off walls or some other nonsense like that. 🙂
