    I have Flip cameras and everytime I attempt to place imported video on the a sequence, a get a general error. I am running Max OS X, 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 1067 Mhz DDR3.

    This is a class with 14 systems like this. Any suggestions.

    This has been answered many many times here. A simple search is the easiest way to find answers.

    Footage must be converted to an FCP edit friendly codec. Compressor or MPEG Streamclip will do the job.
