    Hey All,

So Im trying to have a series of 3D layers fold but a problem I run into is that when the split layer folds down or up a gap where the seam should be keeps showing up. The anchor points and masks appear to be pixel perfect. It only for a few frames but it ruins the effect. Why is this happening?

I included a ref movie and an AE 7 project file.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

    Try:

    1) In comp settings/advanced, set to “advanced” 3D renderer
    2) Set the transfer modes of the card layers to “alpha add”.

I already had Advanced 3D turned on and I tried changing the transfer mode like you suggested but I still get the same little gap. Thanks though. Its a strange problem.

Sometimes you have to move them closer than you think you should. Like 1/2 pixel. Zoom in to 200% and nudge ’em with the arrow keys.

    Very strange!

I just imported the project. What I see is a plain red solid (no lines in it!), the upper left card flips down and reveals a green back. Then the same from lower right. No gaps, when all cards are plain.

My project settings (file->…) Timecode auto, NTSC Drop FRame, 8-Bit per channel color and no working color space (or how that
