I got Flip4Mac to create .wmv files from FCP (6.0) but my first tests are all out of synch. I’m starting with a 720 HD Pro Res sequence and exporting as a SD .wmv. The video and audio are fine, individually, but they aren’t linked. Does anyone else have this problem? Or, better, a solution?

As an alternative I’d like to export a .wmv from Compressor but, after installing Flip4Mac I still been able to find a .wmv export choice in Compressor. (The Flip4Mac user guide says it’s compatible with Compressor but gives no specifics on how to use it with that app.)

    Any help appreciated.

I think you’ll have to create a new preset in Compressor for .wmv.

As for the sync issues, I’d check your sequence’s sample rate, and check your output sample rate. If they’re the same, I’ve got no idea. If they’re different, try making them the same.

    Best of luck.
