Anyone have a good workflow getting flip720P30 .mp4ʻs to playback thru Kona to a monitor after converting to whatever flavor gets best results?

Convert it to PRO RES…via MPEG STREAMCLIP or Compressor… and then choose the Kona ProRes setting for the format you converted to. Works fine.

Did Pro Res via compressor but had playback issues till I realized that I needed to convert to 720P 59.94. Flip shoots 30.Aloha & Mahalo from Maui

I use the HDMI> HDSDI conversion to capture, it offers significantly better signal than a software conversion does.
On set I use the aja HA5 converter ( HDMI- HDSDI) or now a KiPro, works for output from the Canon DSLR’s also.
