    Hi,
i did some test but i still wonder if someone know why everytime i use “Change Speed: REVERSE” and render, i got Bluray flickering problems.

I am using FCP 3, exporting video shooted with 5d2 as fileprores.mov and then Creating Bluray with EncoreCS5.. and it’s kinda flickering everytime i use it.

I’ve tried also exporting file.mov and then using compressor to give file.h264 straight as transcoded file to EncoreCS5 but same results on clips who got “Change Speed: REVERSE” filter.

    Any idea,, suggestion, please?
    Tnx in advance.
    Julian.

Have you tried adding the shift fields filter to the reversed speed clips? This should help minimize the flickering. If you are viewing your timeline only on the computer monitor, it is difficult to see any flickering until you master and view on a TV monitor.

I still use Grahame Nattress’s free plugin G Reverse as it does both the speed setting and automatically corrects the fields. Works perfectly with FCP7
