    Hey all,

I have designed a demo reel DVD. The motion BG was built in After Effects. I added music to it in Premier Pro and rendered it out as an AVI to use in Encore (Encore compresses it to an MPEG2, as I am sure you all know). The motion BG that I designed in After Effects includes some still-frame screen captures that scroll across the screen (they are scaled down to about 40%). They scroll from left to right above the menu button. The problem is, the pictures flicker when they move across the screen. I have tried both “deinterlacing” (which I figured would have no effect) and “flicker removing” in Premier before exporting the AVI to Encore. Neither option stops the photos from jittering on the final DVD. However, it is worse on some TVs and moniors than others. Should I try “frame blending” in AE before I import into Premiere Pro to add music? Any help would be great.
