  • Flickering (Field Reversed?) Playback After Switch From CS5.5 to CS6 – Decklink Extreme

Playback looks like it’s field-reversed in both the NTSC and HDMI outputs of BlackMagic Decklink Extreme in Premiere CS6. Everything still works fine in 5.5. I’m working mainly with ProRes files captured on Atomos Ronin and Samurai recorders, but the behavior is the same with all the files I’ve used, SD or HD. Exported videos look fine, it’s just the playback from the Decklink that looks bad. I’ve tried numerous sequence settings and playing with the Blackmagic control panel and the results are consistent: 5.5=Good. 6=Bad. I’m using a Dell Precision T5500 workstation with Windows 7 64bit. There’s nothing unusual about our setup, so it’s hard to believe searching Adobe and Blackmagic forums hasn’t produced results. Am I missing something so simple that nobody else is running into this?
