Flicker line appearing at top of Preview window
Hi
I’m using SV11. My computer is Win7, i7 3820 3.6GHz processor, Gtx 580 1GB, 16Gb ram.I’ve had problems with SV11 especially after updates. Earlier this year I reinstalled everything from the operating system up and used an older version SV11 and got everything working fine.
Yesterday I was working on the PC and a flickering line started appearing in the preview window when there is camera movement.
I updated my graphics driver. It seemed to work, but it is back again today. I’ve tried running it in compatability mode but no fix.It doesnt appear on Windows media player or when I watch videos online. It’s not stopping me work but i’d like to fix it.
I did have windows updates yesterday

Have you tried changing the preview mode, toggling between ‘best’ and ‘draft’, just to see if the issue disappears by using a different setting?

Thanks for your time. I uninstalled the windows update that I got prior to the problem ( it was for .net) and it seems to be fixed. Fingers crossed!Paul

I’d Like to update this thread. The windows update was not the problem. For some reason ( unknown to me) I had started docking the effects window beside the video window in the display. Once I undocked the effects window, the problem was fixed.Thanks
