flicker in the distance in a hurry please
so im working on a zero budget where a sniper is spotted in the hills because of a flicker of light that reflects off his scope ” I know, stupid sniper” anyways i need to figure out how to create this flicker in the distance. im working on a deadline and any help would be appreciated

I’d just make a lensflare, make it w/e color you want (probably a slightly bluish white for night or slightly yellowish white for day)
scale it down until its the right size, then do a quick flash of it w/ the opacity
That should get ya there..
