    Hi,

I’m just trying myself on some modeling and now came to a point where I’m kind of stuck.

I used two boolians to achieve this form (see picture) which actually kind of matches what I have in mind if only the borders weren’t that sharp but nice and smooth.

I tried several approaches starting from the bevel tool (which doesn’t work on such complex borders) over the Iron tool (sry don’t know the right name for it, but it couldn’t cope with the boolian borders eather and converting everything to a final form and combining it on the one hand side increased my polygones enormously and on the other hand side didn’t give me a really good result either) and finally Hypernurbs.

Does anybody have an idea how i can smoothen my borders or are boolians simply the wrong way to go here?

    Thanks for all help!
    Lisa

This is an unfortunate limitation of booleans in Cinema. You’ll have to model it some other way to get a nice fillet on the edges.

    Dislike!
Anyway thanks for the help! Already figured out some other way to do it 🙂
