    Hello CC,

I have used the simple flare effect and want it to rotate on a circle shape layer with the clock wipe effect, similar to the ‘channel ten’ logo shown on the bottom right. Im not sure on how to correctly do this.

What are you using to create your flare(AE Flare effect)? That looks like a third party flare to me, which makes things a bit easier.

If you set the anchor point of the flare to the center of the circle, you should just be able to rotate it. This of course depends on how you set up your flare effect, but that should be the general idea.

This is a little bit more complex than what I believe you are going for but I thought I would share this tutorial.

I am using the simple AE flare which works great, But getting the rotation right, not so. I have the flare on a solid background and have used Knoll UnMult to transparent the background, I will try and set the anchor point to the centre within the circle (what George mentioned) and see how that goes.
