Fixing Moire from Canon 5D 1080p to SD DVD Conversion
I have cut a project in FCP in Apple Pro Res 422 1920 x 1080 29.97. The original footage comes from 2 5D Mark IIs and an HDV camera.
Its a yoga video and it has a brick wall as a background with lots of moving shots.
When I compress it (through Compressor or iDVD) for SD DVD I am finding quite a lot of Moire on the brick wall. Does anyone have any advice on how to minimize this? Is there an effective plug-in for FC? or does the aliasing slider in Compression have any positive effect?
As well any thoughts on best technique to go from Pro Res 422 to SD DVD for best look?
Cheers,
