“First, tell the person who shot this to turn off those automatic settings.”

Sorry if this is not the right thread for this but myself and some friends made a very amateur film with a DSLR and had quite a few white balance issues in the footage. Which automatic settings should we be turning off on the camera to prevent it? Thank you ☺

Is this essentially what you’re trying to accomplish?

Sorry, if I misunderstood what you’re trying to do here, but I’ve been searching for an After Effects solution like in this video that gives you control over where to sample from, then zeroes out the black and white point, and then applies the lighting and color changes to a patch. I haven’t had any luck. Again, sorry to highjack this thread if this isn’t what you were all talking about, but nonetheless, this is a pretty cool tool that I wish existed for After Effects. If anyone knows anything that will get us close, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Is there any chance to get this script? Seems CreativeCow switched software and all files uploaded here are gone now…

Need this for a Project where footage was shot while the light in the background constantly changes (RGB) and manually correcting this is impossible…

And yes, I’m still using old CS6…

here ya go. also i’d like to add, resolve’s auto exposure module is really good, even better than some plugins.
