  • Fitting the full UI on the screen of a 15″ MacBook Pro

It seems this is a known issue but, despite lots of searching, I haven’t been able to find a definitive solution. On my desktop machine with 2×24″ monitors-no issues running Resolve 12.5 Studio in either single or dual screen mode.
When I try to use it on my laptop (Model 9,1 16G RAM, i7 quad core) , the right side of the User Interface is cut off. The highest my resolution goes is 1440 x 900 in the “Scaled” mode. Is there a way to get the entire UI to show?
    Thanks,

I seem to recall that the minimum acceptable resolution for the Resolve GUI is 1680×1050. At least it was.

I think you’re going to have a lot of performance difficulties with a 2013 laptop like this. It is possible to run Resolve on a laptop, at least with light-duty files and the ability to use fairly powerful GPUs.

Yea, performance is not what I’d call Zippy. I believe that this machine JUST meets the minimum requirements.
I’m doing very simple rough editing in the field but no real heavy lifting. It would just be nice if the right side of the UI wasn’t cut off.
