  • Fit an image to the canvas size

I have a certain canvas size in Photoshop CS5, and when I bring an image into the canvas as a new layer (either through place or copy paste) I want it to automatically resize to fit the canvas. Obviously I can transform and scale, but I’m looking for something a bit quicker and accurate.

    Thanks for the help!

Under PS prefs there’s an option to size images with place command

You can also use image Processor script with a target size to process a folder.

I have the option checked, and while it seems to work for images larger than the canvas, it’s not upscaling a smaller image to fit the canvas.

I will look into the Processor script.

    Thanks!
