My clients have changed their mind and now want a logo as first play for 10 seconds, among other additions. The prior fist play was a 90 second intro. I took the corporate graphic that is used in the main video as an occasional background and edited a 10 second video with fade from black/to black. When I import it into a brand new Encore Project it is the very first asset imported. I thought Encore set the first import as first play automatically. It doesn’t and set as first play is greyed out when I rt. click it. Anyone there to refresh my memory?

I re-imported the First Play file and created a new timeline. Now I am able to set it as First Play. Comments anyone?

It cannot set an asset as first play, only a menu or timeline. You must place the intro animation into a timeline.
