Firmware update for Sony EX 3
Is there a step by step procedure for installing a firmware update on a Sony EX 3? My present version in 1.3 I have read threads indicating that I could do something wrong and render it unusable.

The procedure is included with the firmware. You update using an application that connects to the camera via the hidden USB port on the rear panel behind the shoulder pad. It’s safe to do yourself but we’re happy to do it for you if you want to send it in.

Help me out i want to update my PMW-EX280, every file i downloaded it deny to update.
any help will be appreciated

the EX-280 is not sold in the states so i don’t know it very well. that said the update should be the same as for any of the later PMWs. where are you downloading the file from? please provide a link and i’ll check it out.
