Firewire Output To External Monitor Is Squished?!?
hello. this just happened all of a sudden. i opened a project that i had been working on for months, and when i view the project on my external NTSC monitor, it’s squished down…just little, but it’s annoying (FCP4.5 -> Sony DSR-11 -> NTSC Monitor). everyone looks a little shorter and fatter. it looks fine in the FCP canvas and viewer, and it’s fine when i output to DVD or tape. it just looks skewed when i few it from FCP to my external monitor.
can anyone help me fix this?

Did you accidentially turn on the 16:9 button on your monitor?
