Firewire not recognized in final cut 5.04/5.1.2
I cannot seem to get final cut to recognize a firewire device.
imovie works great.
I have reinstalled final cut which did not work. I upgraded from 5.04 to 5.12 and nothing worked either.
I recently upgraded to tiger. I even removed all my old quicktime receipts and reinstalled it yet nothing seems to work.
thoughts?

That usually fixes it. Did you follow all the instructions at the Apple web site?
