    firewire 800 to 4pin for deck connection

    I am just wondering if it does make any difference if I use firewire 800 to 4 pin cable instead of reguler firewire 6 pin to 4 pin for the connection between firewire deck and mac. In the past, i experience the through put problem with firewire deck like DSR-11. Does firewire 800 make it a bit more stable?

    It does not make any difference.
