    Hello all,

I have a video clip of a church roof in my timeline and want to overlay the sky with some stock footage of fast moving clouds. I was able to acheive this but the clouds look as if they are on the roof. Can anyone explain how to remove the clouds from that section of my video? I am using Pro 8.

    Thanks!

The chromakey pluggin will only work if the original sky is all blue, without clouds, and If you have clouds in the original video, you will need to rotoscope, mask with alot of keyframes. Can you post a small clip or pic of the original clip?

I agree with Danny that you will probably need to use a mask instead but to answer your original question: you fine tune the Chroma Keyer with the Low Threshold and High Threshold sliders. First turn on Show mask only. Then bring the Low threshold up until the part you want to key out is totally black. Then bring the High threshold down until the part you want to keep it totally white (with no gray). Finally turn off Show mask only and you should have a pretty good key.
