Finding what plug-ins are used/added
Found the answer by just using the search box in the Effects parameters and settings palette.
(I was wondering how to find out what effects are being used….or what plug-ins)

Not sure I understand the question … sounds like you’re looking in an AE project that someone else created since it seems that, if you made it, you would know which effect you used.
Anyway, I still do it the old fashioned way … CNTRL+A to select all layers, then E to twirl down all layers that have effects on them.
