We are in the process of editing a multi-track music program and have used video clips with no audio track to cover camera moves, mistakes etc. One piece of video is two seconds long and came from a clip that originally had audio with it. We only used the video, but now we need to use the original audio associated with this clip. Using “undo” is not practicle at this point because there have been hundreds of edits since this piece was put into the timeline. Is there anyway to quickly find the audio for this two second piece without having to go through an hour long piece of tape and then syncronize the pieces? If so, it would be a life saver as the client is in the studio now trying to wrap up this project. Thanks in advance.

Kevin, since you have Excalibur, just select that video event and run the “Restore Missing A/V” tool on the Repair/Maint. tab.
