find back an AE projects
Hi guys. Here’s my problem …
A client asked me to work back on a project, after 6 months. I have a folder where I got all the elements I used but impossible to find the project back .. I dunno why. Do you know if there is a way to find back the project with the elements? (a kind of powerfull search that would let me ask to look for an element in all the aep in have on my machine)

The only thing I can suggest is a system which won’t help you out at all right now, but will save the day in the future. AE projects have a “collect files” feature which puts all of your project elements in one folder, which you can then archive, send to another machine, etc..
As I say, it’s no help right now. Good luck!

You’re right, collect files is a great tool. Shame on me, I don’t use it as much as I should. May be the problem I have right now will help me to remember that tool for the future.
