  • Finalizing lengthy project…

I’ve finished up the editing process on a project I posted about a while ago and am trying to decide the best way to export. It was shot in HDV with a Sony A1 and captured in HDV as well. My final medium is a DL-DVD. My main concern is all the talk about issues exporting HD to SD from Premier so I want to make sure I am getting the absolute best results possible.

My question is how to best export it for final creation in Encore. Should I use export -> movie, export -> media or export -> encore? I am lucky enough to have Cinema Craft Encoder SP as well (though I’ve never used it) so will this help in the process? I’m willing to spend some money if need be for better encoders if there are some available that would help get the best quality on this project.

As usual, thanks alot for your help.
