    Hi,

I’m having some issues with my renders. When I render a region in my viewport my scene looks the way I want it. However when I do a final render of the frame, the image looks quite different. The lighting is different, it seems to take longer to render, and certain textures (low poly) looks different. Does anyone know why this might be?

    cheers

Link to the file is here. Please excuse my messy scene (and its 32mb!). Ive spent hours trying different ways to get the effect I want, but still can’t get it right with my limited knowledge so this will have to do for now!

First thing I would do is cache all the cloners. If your shadows are different you may have some lights turned on in the editor but turned off for render (stop lights).

    Hi

Thanks for that advice. That made a big difference to the render and fixed some odd glitches. I played around with the render settings, turned off the blur etc which made a huge difference in render times.

    cheers
