OK… So, working on a corporate project that I’ve been working on for about two weeks now, and I’m in the almost-complete-but-the-client-wants-some-minor-changes-made phase. I load up my FCP, the project loads… and won’t let me click within the interface. Any time I do, I get the annoying Apple chime that notifies you are doing something wrong. However, I can still interact with the menu, though most of my options are greyed out. What is going on with final cut?

All my project material is uploaded, all my sequences – it’s all there. I just can’t touch any of it. I’ve rebooted the program several times, but to no avail.

    Help?

Get yourself Preference Manager from https://www.digitalrebellion.com and use that instead. It’s an essential, and does so much more anyway… And. it’s free.
