What is the best way to export a file from Final Cut Pro 4.0 in order for it to work with Adobe Premiere Pro?

Are you attempting to export a movie/video, or a project file?

I am trying to export a project file. From Final cut. And I get the error message mentioned in my original post. The error message however mentions DVD SP

Again, you need the Automatic Duck product to move a project from FCP to Premiere. You’ll probably export an XML from FCP and then that project will open in Premiere with the Duck product. I use their FCP Pro Importer which allows me to open AVID projects in FCP and it works incredibly well.
