I have a problem in my class with a Mac Book Pro running Leopard. When I show FCP through the VGA cable on the screen it locks up and the beach ball appears, sometimes for up to 1 minute. I trashed the prefs and ran the disc utility and still the same problem. It works fine at home on a monitor but on the big screen big issues. Please help as my class needs me to project the interface for them.
Thanks and have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Try setting “Number of recent items”= 10 in the Displays Preferences.

You probably already did this, but install the 6.02 update to Final Cut Pro. On Apple’s info site, it says this update makes Final Cut Pro Leopard supported.
