    Final Cut Pro X Trial Version Problem

    I downloaded the trial version and it works great except for out-putting HD video which it won’t do. I upload 1280×720 (H.264) video but when I go to share it with Youtube or my desktop my only option is 640×480, no hd.

    I’ve tried this with various video and the same thing happens. Is this how the way the trial version works or am I doing something wrong.

    I have iMovie for a long time and have no problem with out-putting HD?

    It sounds like you’re editing and / or exporting as Prores Proxy. That’s great for editing on a slower system but is smaller in order to make it work smoothly. Try setting your output to the full res files
