Hey all, was wondering if you could help…

I am having a problem with FCP in that when i capture a logged clip (or a set of clips), it finishes capturing and only shows a cancel or continue button – if i hit continue it re-captures everything, and if i hit cancel all seems fine…

The last time this happened i had random black dropped frames through out the capture – i then realised i had continue capturing when drop out detected (something like that) and changed that to abort…. and all was fine…

But now it is happening again – I have checked all the settings and I can’t seem to know what it is..

I am using FCP 5.12 – quad G5 Mac (not pro) with Xraid and black magic multibridge extreme…

any help would be very much appreciated…

    cheers,

    Justin

Have had this, too – come & go!
Try trashing your FCP preferences but look at the BlackMagic drivers, too – I think this is the issue.
Make sure you have their approved version for both your OS and FCP versions. Details are on their website.

    Hope that helps.

    Neil.
