Final Cut Pro-style media manage in Vegas?
We use Final Cut Pro 7 at our shop, but our new freelance editor uses Vegas 11 Pro. He sent us his segment as a single file, but I would like to have the individual clips used in the segment, so I can adjust a few edit points to match the VO we recorded in-house.
Is there a tool in Vegas similar to Media Manager in FCP, which automatically copies only the footage used on the timeline (either full clips or with handles) into a new folder? That way, he wouldn’t have to spend time doing this manually, or send me a bunch of material he doesn’t want to send me, and I don’t need.
I know there’s a Sony plug-in called “Media Manager”, but I haven’t determined if it has such a feature.

You can even render to ProRes 444 using the ffmpeg external renderer.
