Final Cut Pro Reconnect Files not listing files
So this is a little confusing.
When I open an FCP (7.0.3) project, it shows me that 38 media files have gone offline. When I click to reconnect files, the dialog box comes up empty.
To make matters a little more strange, in a given folder, 1 file is online while the rest are offline. I have all of the media. Nothing has been moved, but only one file is showing up as online. I have no means if re-linking that I can find because no files are listed when I choose “reconnect files”.
I’ve tried trashing preferences as that is the “go-to” first step.
You’ll also notice that no file is listed on the “media offline” image in the canvas.

Still no idea how/why it happened, but this thread worked for me to solve it. Had to dig into last auto-save file.
