The problem is my media sometimes goes offline for no reason. Sometimes the next time I open the project everything is fine and other times I open the project and the media is missing again. Any suggestions on what could solve this problem and how I can find my media that has gone offline?

    Thanks
    JG

Have you tried trashing the FCP preference files yet?

What are your scratch drive setting?

Are you using internal or externa scratch drives for your media. Have you ever disconnected a scratch drive while editing in FCP?

Verify the media is still on the specific scratch drives.

Reconnect to the media if the media offline dialogue appears when you launch FCP.
