I am having a problem with my final cut pro software. When I try to add the text that I created in the viewer: slug and then I try to drag it over to the browser it goes underneath it and does not go into it. I have been editing on this program for years and this just started last night. Now before this happened I was trying to transcode a interview that I had shot into the proper workflow to go into final cut pro useing Mpeg streamclips. I realized that I had shot it in 60fps instead of 24fps so I tried to adjust my final cut settings to compensate for the frame rate. Could it be that I screwed up that way. Also when I open final cut up a box that says “External A/V” appears. It says It can not locate the following external devices.
dvcpro hd (1080i60) (1920×1080) dvcpro hd out. I am lost. Any information is greatly appreciated or even some info if I can set all the settings back to default. Thanks

Is the viewer set to Image in the view popup or Image+Wireframe? Sounds like you pressed the W key in the viewer.

    All the best,

    Tom
