  • Final Cut Pro issues with Synology diskstations

I’m running three NAS Synology 5 bay diskstations across a network of 4 Final Cut Pro systems.

The system was working fine until the recent update of the Synology software. Now I’m getting issues when saving FCP files to the diskstations, we’re having to save them locally and then copy the files across to the diskstations. FCP is also crashing constantly and when we re-open the projects all links to the media have gone, so my editors are having to manually re-link the media from the diskstations.

Does anyone else have a similar set up to me? Has anyone come across these issues before? Any help would be very much appreciated!
