Final Cut Pro 7 quit allowing to clip settings
I already finished my first 11 minute film and all the editing went smoothy… mostly.
But now I have to make a 2 minute preview of it and all the sudden when I select “in” or “out” to clip the sequence to the length I want, it doesn’t do anything. The arrows show like usual but the actual sequence stays the same.
I even went to my first film and tried to edit it and it does the same thing
Also when I double click the sequence it automatically goes to the viewer instead of the canvas… I really have no idea what to do.. and I can’t find anyone else with this problem

Your post is unclear. You want to shorten a sequence I get, but the rest I don’t… when you select an in and out point what do you want to happen that isn’t happening? You do need to delete sections for any thing to happen, not just set points.

For some reason if I don’t double click the sequence first it doesn’t clip right…
Idk… but it’s working now
