Hi all. Got a problem I can’t figure out. I sent an edit to color and color opens but there is no footage.
The source media was caught on a Sony HVR V1U HDV camcorder 24pA mode, transcoded to prores removing the 3:2 pulldown for 24p prores files. I have color graded using this workflow many times but it seems the link between FCP and Color has disappeared. Is there a way to get the programs talking again. I’ve trashed prefs. and tried several experiments to no avail. I’m running Final Cut 6.0.6 and Color 1.0.4. on a Intel Macpro Quad 2.66. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Gray

I’m not sure what’s going on. But, in addition to trashing pref be sure to repair permissions. If you have Disk Warrior, run that, too, on your system drive. Repairing permissions and Disk Warrior help the OS know where things are which is related to your issue.

Thanks, I’ll check into disk warrior. This is a problem I’ve never encountered before. It’s really weird.
