final cut / kona / Canon XLH1
Shot on Canon XLH1 at 1080 30. Attempting to digitize into final cut using my kona LH card via the SDI INport on that card and the SDI out on the canon. I chose the setting Kona DVCPRO HD 30. Since canon does not embed audio into their SDI out, I have to use the analog audio in’s on the card and the analog audio outs on the canon.
The footage goes in…. but the sync drifts (the clip is 10 minutes long).
What am I doing wrong. Is it the settings I am choosing?

Is it true 30 or 29.97? What happens when you switch over to AJA Kona LH DVCPro HD 1080i / 29.97?
