Final Cut IMPORT MEDIA window only sees my entire drive now not folders
so I updated to version 10.0.6 and now the import media window does not see folders on my external USB drive, only every video clip on the drive, and I have 60,000 clips on the drive.
On my boot drive, it still see’s folders. How do I get my folders back in my Import media window, so I can find clips faster without waiting to generate 60,000+ thumbnails?

Try repairing Permissions.

USB have never been a good option for video editing. Not even in the DV times.
The minimum required for FC was FW400.
