FINAL CUT EXPORTING CLIPS WITH OFF TIME DURATIONS

You turn on film safe with the check mark in the Browser. If it’s not on, then it wouldn’t be active.

You should export to QuickTime Movie with current settings. That’s the only way o export without recompression of your material.

I assume you used the 24pa preset for capture and sequence settings.
