Final Cut crash on Capture and Edit to Tape
I just installed Tiger… late… I know.
I have vs. 4.5 Final Cut.crashing on caputre and edit to tape… anything firewire I suppose.
I have been recomended by apple to re-install. Sucks… cause Ill have to reload vs. 4.0 and go from there.correct?
and, just to make sure, how do I do a full unistall?
do I delete the following…Macintosh HD / Applications / Final Cut Pro (folder)
Macintosh HD / Library / Application Support / Final Cut Pro
System Support (folder)Macintosh HD / Library / Preferences / com.RegFinalCutPro.plist
Copy: Macintosh HD / User / *name of logged in user* / Library /
Preferences / com.apple.FinalCutPro.plistthanks all!

Wait a few weeks until Leoapard is released.
First try trashing your preferences before reinstalling FCP.
If you need to reinstall, you do not need to delete anything. Just insert your original FCP discs and follow the instructions.
