    Final Cut can’t see my DV Deck

    Hi,
    I have been editing using Final Cut Pro 4. My DV deck was connected fine and i could capture footage with no problems.

    I then wanted to install my new upgrade ( Final Cut studio 5.1) This required me to also upgrade my Operating System 0SX 10.4.8

    I upgraded both my OSX and my editing software and now i cannot capture footage.

    I go into FC 5.1 and it says “Unable to locate the following external devices: APPLE FIREWIRE PAL (720 X 576)

    I have tried changing various setting around in FC but with no luck.

    please help

    Boot up with the DV deck powered off, then power it back on.
